ZJ Series Roots Vacuum Pump
The ZJ series roots vacuum pump is a positive‑displacement mechanical booster pump for obtaining medium‑high vacuum. A pair of figure‑8 rotors rotate synchronously and oppositely inside pump chamber to complete gas suction and exhaust.
This pump CANNOT work alone. It must be connected in series with backing pumps such as slide‑valve pump, water‑ring pump or rotary vane pump.

ZJ = Roots vacuum pump; 1200 = nominal pumping speed 1200 L/s.
Features
• Fast start‑up, can reach ultimate pressure in short time; high pumping speed within wide pressure range.
• No metal contact between rotors and pump housing. Low vibration, low noise, long service life and low maintenance cost.
• No oil lubrication inside pump chamber, avoiding oil vapor contamination to vacuum system; insensitive to tiny dust particles.
• Low power consumption for energy‑saving operation. Optimized sealing structure for bearing & gear chamber, greatly reducing oil emulsification when pumping large‑volume water vapor or solvent vapor with water‑ring backing pump.

Packaging Instructions
ZJ series roots vacuum pumps are packed in heavy‑duty export wooden cases with moisture‑proof and shock‑resistant treatment, suitable for land, railway and sea shipment. Inlet & outlet ports are pre‑sealed at factory. Internal foam and wood bracing prevent shaking and collision.

Storage & Handling Notes:
• Check wooden case condition on delivery.
